Taizé: Psaume 1 / Psalm 1
Ant. : Heureux est l'homme qui se plaît dans la loi de Dieu (cf. Ps 1, 2a) Happy are those who delight in God's law. Psalm 8 sung in Hebrew
Ant. :Alleluia!
(cf. Ps 13, 4) Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death. Ps 19 (18), 2-7, the antiphon for the time of the year Ant. (cf. Ps 19, 5) Ihre Botschaft geht in die ganze Welt hinaus, und Gute Nachricht bis zu den Enden der Erde Their sound is spread throughout the earth, and good news to all the corners of the world.
Mi Zeh Melech HaKavod (Who is this King of Glory?) Psalm 24:7-10. An exuberant praise and worship music video based on the prophecy of Psalm 24. You can almost hear the shouts of joy and swishing of palm branches as the King of Glory, Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah rides through the Eastern Gate and into the Old City of Jerusalem to take the throne of His father, David. ADDED NOTE: In 2nd Temple times, Psalm 24 was sung by the Levites in the Temple on First Day (Sunday) in honor of creation. First Day is also the 8th Day - new beginnings. This worship video is Part 3 and the final portion of the Psalm 24 Medley by Christene Jackman. Sung completely in the original Biblical Hebrew, it packs a spiritual whallop. Worshippers in English speaking countries as well as Israel can sing along, as the video features the lyrics in Hebrew with nikkud, transliterated Hebrew and English. MIQEDEM - Psalm 23 (Live in Studio) תהילים כ״ג
UPDATE: 8.12.2024 WATCH, HEAR NEW RECORDING OF THIS SONG: NEW LYRIC VIDEO: https://www.christenejackman.com/music-videos NEW MP3: https://www.christenejackman.com/mp3-albums-christene-jackman You can find the mp3, music video and free PDF chord charts here: https://www.christenejackman.com. ADONAI ORI, All of Psalm 27 set to music by Christene Jackman and sung in Biblical Hebrew. THE BACKSTORY Before you watch, let me first tell you a story regarding the song in this video. Songwriter/Singer Christene Jackman shared that recently her mom handed her an old, worn little bible. It turned out to be the gift her father had given her mother the day of Christene's birth. Opening the tattered front page, she discovered scripture references scribbled by the hand of her late father outlining the Way of Salvation, as well as one specific psalm. That psalm listed was: Psalm 27, one that had always been among her favorites throughout her life. Jackman has now recorded this moving musical interpretation of Psalm 27 in keeping with the Psalm that was spoken over her life at birth by her father and her Heavenly Abba. "Coincidence" is not a kosher word :) DISCOVER A DEEPER WORSHIP EXPERIENCE Looking for a way to go deeper during your worship time? Have you ever considered worshiping the L-rd using the Psalms of Scripture? Enter a powerful level of worship singing and praying the actual Word of G-d in the original language: Biblical Hebrew. The fact that Hebrew as a language has been revived in these Last Days is a miracle in itself. Yes, G-d understands and accepts praise in English, but that doesn't negate the fact that Hebrew is special. The original ancient scriptures were written almost exclusively in Hebrew. FEATURES SUBTITLES Don't know Hebrew? No problem, "ADONAI Ori (The L-RD is My Light)", Psalm 27, has subtitles in Hebrew (for those who are learning Hebrew), transliterated Hebrew and English. Psalm 27 holds comfort and courage in the face of troubling times. The first portions of "ADONAI Ori", Psalm 27, are soothing, drawing the listener in. The final portion of the psalm breaks into statements of strong faith, with the feel of the song transitioning into a Latin-Middle Eastern fusion sound that will make you want to get up and dance like King David, proclaiming the Name and Mighty Acts of the L-RD, the Holy One of Israel. IDEAS FOR USAGE Picture adding live Davidic Dance and Ethnic percussionists along with this video as a backdrop. Free chord charts are available at Christene Jackman's website for singers and bands to perform the song live. This video is dedicated to Israel, a tiny nation struggling to survive; an island surrounded by enemies breathing out lies and threats of destruction. The Holy One of Israel swore by Himself. He keeps His Covenants even when we are unfaithful. Mashiach na! He is our Strong Defender. "Ad mai, ADONAI??" PSALM 17, "ADONAI Ori (The L-RD is My Light)" Music Video. This worship video features the song by Christene Jackman, "ADONAI Ori (The L-RD is My Light)", Psalm 27. The lyrics were written by King David are sung in Biblical Hebrew with the melody composed by Jackman. You can purchase this video or MP3 download through https://www.christenejackman.com. ===================================================================== BLANKET STATEMENT: ON CIRCUMLOCUTIONS & THE HYPEN ISSUE: Stop hating on the Jews & Messianics who wish to use a circumlocution for the Name Of G-d, and the hyphen issue. Stop thinking His Names are a magic wand and incantation you must spell & say just the right way in order to be effective or pleasing to G-d (or God). It's a circumcised heart that matters. His Name(s) are His REPUTATIONS/Attributes. You have the wrong idea about the "G-d," etc. For those who use it--it is an expression of REVERENCE for His Name, not political correctness or superstition. Here's some insight: http://www.jewfaq.org/name.htm. SACRED NAMERS: We no longer know how to properly pronounce YHVH, regardless of what you read on the internet by pseudo scholars. Until the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob restores this, I prefer to call Him HaShem or ADONAI or Abba Father or Avinu rather than mangle His Name. See Luke 11:2. Note that Messiah did not use the YHVH Name, but instructed us to pray saying, "Avinu/Our Father.") Tim Hegg of Torah Resource has a great scholarly article on the "Sacred Name" issue. Note regarding: "Taking His Name in vain" is, at its fullest sense, is to say you represent Him and live your life contrary to His Torah (instructions). ON YESHUA: Yeshua (there is no "J" sound in Hebrew) means, "salvation." Actually, His Name is in the Tanakh 29 times - "Jeshua":http://www.blueletterbible.org/search... Why don't we go out and feed the orphans, widows, strangers and Levites and stop bickering over this. That would bring much more honor to His Name. Amein

In this performance we asked female Yemenite cantor Gila Beshari to bring this Hasidic Psalm composition her character and special voice. we asked to have a feminine performance in the divine voice of Gila Beshari. - 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶 - Cantor Gila Beshari is best known for singing traditional Yemenite Jewish music. She is considered a supreme authority when it comes to Yemenite singing especially the singing of Yemenite Jewish women songs. She teaches many young singers, inspiring in her meticulous works many performers, composers and musicians. Well-known singers were also influenced by her work and performances (Noa, Ofra Haza). After receiving rave reviews from new Delhi to Carnegie Hall Gila was repeatedly pursued to record an album of Yemenite music. her debut album was released in 1998 and become a magnet and a source of inspiration for musicians and researchers around the world and an exemplary album that the fastidious audience has embraced with love. Gila’s parents, like most of Israel’s Yemenite community immigrated to Israel from Yemen in the first two years of young Israel. Gila was born in Israel into a close-knit traditional family where her liberal father not only encourage her to sing but also taught her the closed world of men's songs. The young Gila fell in love with the melodies and inflection of the Yemenite synagogues with the innocent but impossible dream of becoming a Yemenite cantor herself. Embraced by the divas who had learn their craft in the different villages of Yemen, Gila established a reputation for authenticity in women’s song as well. she became passionately interested in preserving the haunting melodies being lost with that passing generation and begun collecting old Yemenite recordings, revitalizing many in her concerts.

http://the5talents.com/2017/01/03/his-love-endures-forever Give thanks to the Lord for He is good His love endures forever let Israel say His love endures forever let the house of Aaron say: His love endures forever Let those who fear the Lord say: "His love endures forever" When hard-pressed I Cried unto the Lord He brought me into a spacious place the Lord is with me I will not be afraid what can mere mortals do to me the Lord is with me He is my helper I looked in Triumph on my enemies it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in human beings it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes all the nations surrounded me but in the name of the Lord I cut them down they surrounded me on every side but in the name of the Lord I cut them down they swarmed around me like bees but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns In The Name Of The Lord I cut them down I was pushed back and about to fall but the Lord helped me the Lord is my strength and defense he has become my salvation. Psalms 118:1-14
